Accreditation

National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC)

NBHWC approved health and wellness coach training program

The NBHWC, in partnership with the National Board of Medical Examiners, sets the national standard for health and wellness coaching in the United States. An Approved Training Program has been reviewed against its competencies, hours and practical-skills requirements.

For you: Graduates of an approved program can sit for the national board exam and earn the NBC-HWC credential once they complete the program and the required coaching sessions.

What is Gaja Collective?+

Gaja Collective is an independent, woman-owned licensed vocational school offering transformational learning and professional education in coaching, meditation, mindfulness, yoga, breathwork and Ayurveda. Our programs bring together respected wisdom traditions, contemporary science, practical skills and guidance from experienced faculty.

What certification programs does Gaja Collective offer?+

Professional certification programs in Mind-Body-Spirit Coaching, Meditation and Mindfulness Instruction, Ayurvedic Health, and Yoga and Breathwork Teaching (200-hour, 300-hour and the 500-hour pathway). Each program deepens your knowledge while preparing you to apply what you learn in professional, community or personal settings.

Are Gaja Collective's programs accredited?+

Specific Gaja programs hold recognized professional accreditations. The Mind-Body-Spirit Coach Certification is accredited by the International Coaching Federation and approved by the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching. The 200-hour Yoga and Breathwork Teacher Training is a Yoga Alliance–registered program (RYS 200) and the 300-hour training is Yoga Alliance–accredited advanced training. Accreditation varies by program, so review each certification page for the exact standard it meets.

Are Gaja Collective certification programs online?+

Yes. Gaja's certification programs are designed for online learning, making professional education accessible to students in diverse locations and life circumstances. Programs combine structured coursework with live, faculty-led learning and opportunities to practice, connect and receive guidance.

Will I learn from real faculty members?+

Yes. Gaja students are supported by experienced faculty throughout their learning journey. Rather than navigating an entirely self-guided course, you learn directly from instructors, participate in live sessions, ask questions, receive feedback and connect with a community of fellow students.

Who are Gaja Collective's programs designed for?+

People seeking meaningful personal growth, professional credentials or new ways to support others: aspiring coaches and teachers, wellness professionals expanding their expertise, and individuals who feel called to bring greater health, awareness and purpose into their lives and communities.

Can a Gaja certification support a new career?+

Yes. Gaja's professional certification programs help students develop practical skills, confidence and credentials they can apply in a new or existing career. Graduates may establish an independent practice, incorporate their training into their current profession, teach within organizations or communities, or continue into advanced education. Individual outcomes are as diverse as the people who study with us.

What support is available after certification?+

Graduation is not the end of your relationship with Gaja. Alumni stay connected through continuing education, community experiences, professional-development opportunities and the Gaja Pro Directory, where certified graduates create profiles and make their services discoverable.
