An integrated teaching pathway

Meditation, Ayurveda and yoga were never separate subjects.

The Vedic tradition taught stillness, daily living and movement as one practice. The Vedic Educator pathway brings Gaja's three foundational teacher trainings together so you can teach them the same way: one faculty, one philosophy, three credentials.

You'll learn to teach mantra meditation and mindfulness, to guide people into Ayurvedic daily routines matched to their constitution, and to lead yoga and breathwork that is accessible, personalized and rooted in the depth of the tradition. Each training stands on its own; together they make a teacher who can meet a student wherever they are.

Why teach them together

One philosophy across the mat, the cushion and the kitchen.

1

Depth, not breadth

Each discipline is taught to its own certification standard by the faculty who lead that program, not as a survey.

2

A whole-person teacher

Move between stillness, lifestyle and movement in one class, one course or one retreat.

3

Personalized for every student

Ayurveda gives you the lens to adapt meditation and yoga to the person in front of you.

4

One community

Study alongside Gaja's coaches, meditation teachers, Ayurvedic educators and yoga teachers in Gaja Commons.

Become a Gaja Vedic Educator.

Tell admissions where you are starting from and they'll map the three trainings to your year.

What you'll learn
  • ✓Teach meditation, Ayurvedic daily living and yoga from one coherent philosophy
  • ✓Lead classes, courses, workshops and retreats that move between stillness, lifestyle and movement
  • ✓Register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT-200 after the yoga training and its requirements
  • ✓Hold three Gaja credentials and one Pro Directory listing as a Vedic Educator
This is for you if
  • You want to teach the Vedic sciences together, the way they were meant to be lived, rather than one discipline at a time
  • You're a yoga teacher who wants meditation and Ayurveda at the same depth as your asana training, or a meditator ready to teach movement
  • You want one faculty and one philosophy across all three trainings

Questions
Does it matter which training I take first?

No. Many students begin with meditation and finish with the yoga training, but you can order the three to suit your schedule; admissions will help you plan the sequence.

How long does the pathway take?

Each training runs 16–21 weeks with weekly live sessions. Most students complete all three within 12–18 months.

Is the yoga training Yoga Alliance registered?

Yes. The 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training is a Yoga Alliance RYS 200 training; the meditation and Ayurveda certifications also count as YACEP continuing education for registered teachers.

Do I need experience?

No prior teaching experience is required. A personal practice in any of the three disciplines helps, and each training starts from the foundations.

How is tuition handled?

Pathway tuition and payment plans are arranged with admissions when you apply; the three trainings can also be enrolled in one at a time.
