Discover your dosha.

Your dosha is a personalized lens for understanding your body, mind, energy, habits and natural rhythms. Reflect on your lifelong tendencies, the way you have been since childhood and through most of your life, and find out whether Vata, Pitta or Kapha is most active in your constitution.

Developed by physicians

Gaja's Ayurveda faculty include an M.D. and a BAMS-trained Ayurvedic physician. The quiz is educational, not a diagnosis; it tells you your basic nature so you can make more supportive choices for your routine, movement, rest and food.

Questions
What is a dosha?

In Ayurveda, the three doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha) are the principles that govern the body and mind. Each is made of two of the five elements; everyone has all three in a unique proportion, and the quiz asks which predominates in you.

How long does the Dosha Quiz take?

About two minutes: ten questions, each with three statements you rank Most, Somewhat and Least like me.

What do I get?

Your scores and what they mean on the page, then by email: your results and three short lessons on balancing your dosha (your daily rhythm, your food and how you move), written by Gaja's Ayurveda faculty.

Is the quiz free?

Yes. It is Gaja Collective's free Ayurvedic assessment. The Ayurvedic Health Foundations course goes deeper, and the Ayurvedic Health Behavior Change Specialist Certificate is the professional training.
